Have you ever wondered about the history of your house? Join the MoD’s Archivist, Laura Camilleri, for this workshop on how to research the history of your house. In this workshop, Laura provides useful tips for researching the history of homes, both urban and rural, in Dufferin County. She will show how to effectively search online resources, newspaper archives, and other databases and archival collections. Participants will have the opportunity to research their own homes, if they live in Dufferin County, during the workshop (bring the legal description for the property / house).

Age 16+. Registration is required.

OPTIONAL – Bring a laptop to research your own property during the workshop using the online resources

NO FOOD or DRINK during the workshop - Participants may be using original archival documents during this workshop
